OpenArt Links Nora: Hidden stories
Anton Wiraeus, installation

In Hidden Stories, Anton Wiraeus takes his point of departure in something we encounter every day: signs that guide, inform and point out directions. Yet here, their messages have been charged with other meanings. The subjects bear traces of the forest, the lake and the history of the city, and leave room for your own associations. The works are positioned so that they can be discovered on a walk through Nora, from Skolparken down towards the Brewery District. When darkness falls, they catch the light from passing vehicles and re-emerge. Anton Wiraeus often works with public art, where he seeks points of contact with the location and lets the art become a playful part of how it is experienced and understood.
