OpenArt Links Lindesberg: Imaginary Spaces – Myscenium
Perman K Bäckström, sculpture and installation

In one of the linden trees in the square, something has changed. A sound drifts through the treetops, drawing our attention. It is not entirely clear where it is coming from, but it makes the square feel different. Imaginary Spaces - Myscenium is an installation with sound and interactive elements. The artist duo Perman K Bäckström works with simple materials and lets shapes emerge in a process that is both exploratory and artisanal. The textile materials are woven together into spaces that emerge in conjunction with the installation location and the people who move around in it. The work opens up for shared situations in which something temporary can take shape: a collection, a moment to listen, a shift in how the surroundings are experienced.
