EYES AS BIG AS PLATES by Karoline Hjorth (NO) & Riitta Ikonen (FI) is the result of meetings with people, flora, fauna and funga on five continents. With an underlying objective of stimulating a collective and more synchronized way of dealing with the climate crisis, the series challenge perceptions of human-nature relationships, affirming co-existence as the only sustainable path forward. Combining photography, wearable sculpture, and action research, the ongoing collaboration has so far resulted in 160 portraits from 19 countries.
